1. Introduction

Folded Logic ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the Asstrix application, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

2. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and company details necessary for account authentication and communication.
• User-Generated Data: Asset inventories, equipment serial numbers, location data (jobsites), financial values (purchase prices), and photographic uploads.
• Automated Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and interaction metrics collected automatically to ensure system stability and security.

3. Third-Party Sub-Processors

To provide secure, scalable, and reliable services, Asstrix utilizes enterprise-grade third-party infrastructure. By using this application, you acknowledge that your data is processed and stored via the following trusted partners:

• Supabase: Serves as our primary backend provider, handling secure user authentication (PostgreSQL), database management, and encrypted cloud storage for your asset photos and vault documents.
• Vercel: Hosts the application edge network, ensuring fast, secure, and globally distributed delivery of the web application.
• GitHub: Utilized strictly for our internal source control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. End-user data is never exposed to or stored on GitHub.

These providers are compliant with major global privacy frameworks (SOC2, GDPR) and are contractually bound to strictly safeguard your data.

4. Account and Data Deletion (Your Rights)

You have the absolute right to access, modify, or permanently delete your personal information and company data at any time.

• In-App Deletion: Users with Administrative privileges can delete individual assets and their associated vault files directly from the Asset Details panel.
• Complete Account Erasure: To request the complete and permanent deletion of your entire workspace, user account, and all associated databases and storage buckets, please email our support team at legal@foldedlogic.ca.

Upon a verified deletion request, all personal data, database rows, and encrypted storage files associated with your workspace will be hard-deleted from our active Supabase instances within 30 days. Residual data may remain in encrypted backup archives for up to 90 days before being automatically purged.

5. Jurisdictional Compliance

Asstrix is operated by Folded Logic, based in British Columbia, Canada. This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We also implement security and data portability measures compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
